Coming to the Oamaru Opera House in July 2025
Musical Theatre Oamaru is excited to be producing the classic musical, OLIVER! this year, on stage July 10-19 at the Oamaru Opera House.
The award-winning musical adaptation of the classic Dickens novel springs to life with
some of the most memorable characters and songs ever to grace the stage.
With a large cast of characters, this show is a great opportunity for budding young performers to get involved, as we'll be looking for a cast of the young (7+) - and not so young! We'll also be looking for backing vocalists, dancers, and gymnasts, as well as musicians as this show requires a full orchestra!
We invite all interested people to come along to our information evening on MONDAY, MARCH 3RD at 6.30pm - Location TBC.
This will be a great opportunity to meet our awesome Creative Team, and learn about the audition process.
Auditions will take place March 7-9.
Note: While we know some Junior performers may be involved in the WGHS/WBHS production, and Oamaru Repertory's show, we still encourage them to come along to the info night, if they're keen to be involved
In the mean time, if you have any questions, or will be unable to make the info night, please email the Production Mangager, Melissa at: [email protected]
