It’s show time again - and this one’s extra special. This year, we’re celebrating 70 incredible years of our Society with a Compilation Show featuring highlights from past productions - and perhaps even a few special appearances along the way! We’re seeking strong singers (adults and juniors), confident dancers (who don't have to be singers!), and plenty of talented musicians to help us honour our history in a show worthy of 70 years.
This production will be staged at the Oamaru Opera House from August 6-15.
Auditions take place March 6-7 at the Oamaru Repertory Theatre on Itchen Street

Important Information:
Group choreography auditions are required for anyone wanting to be on stage
(please don't panic - we just need to establish if you can move!)
These are to be held on Friday, March 6th at the following times:
Juniors (8-18yrs): 5.30pm
Adults (on stage singers/dancers): 6.30pm
Dancers (non singing): 7.30pm
Singing Auditions are required for everyone (except those only auditioning as dancers)
Please choose a time for your singing audition, on Saturday, March 7th.

Initially bookings will be open from 9am - 1pm; and if required we will open up the afternoon slots.
If you need an audition time later in the day on Saturday, please get in touch by emailing [email protected] and advise your earliest availability.
Please come prepared with a musical theatre song from the list of shows below. Be sure to rehearse it so you are comfortable performing it for us!
Make sure you learn about two mins worth of song - but don't be concerned if you only get to sing part of that!
Be prepared with a backing track (often found on You Tube or Spotifyi) that you can play on your phone; or via your own Bluetooth speaker.
You must come to your audition with a pre-filled in Audition Form (download from the attached) along with a headshot
Please arrive 15 mins before your audition in case we are running ahead of schedule - and to allow yourself to calm any nerves 😊
